2026 Request for Proposals is Now Open!

Interested in speaking at The Maine Women’s Conference?

We believe that empowering women strengthens society and that experiences change lives.

This one-day conference aims to bring 350+ women together to connect, educate, inspire, and empower each other to assume new and expanded roles in the workforce, our lives, and communities.

We’re currently accepting speaker and keynote proposals for the 2026 conference and we’d love to have you join us in making this year’s event a powerful one.

Our team will be collecting session proposals from a range of individuals with diverse voices, experiences, and roles to share their perspectives and knowledge with our community of women.

Submissions close March 9, 2026

This year’s theme is Power. Purpose. Possibility.

Power.

Every woman carries innate power, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, sometimes buried under roles, expectations, or seasons of survival.

This conference is a space to reconnect with that power. Not power over others, but power within, the kind that comes from self-trust, resilience, and remembering who you are beneath the noise.

Purpose.

Purpose evolves. It shifts with age, experience, loss, joy, reinvention, and growth.

Whether you’re just beginning to ask “What’s next?”, deepening a calling you’ve carried for years, or bravely rewriting your story, this conference honors purpose in all its forms.

Here, purpose isn’t a single destination, it’s a living relationship with yourself.

Possibility.

When women gather, something opens. Perspectives widen. New ideas feel reachable. Old limitations loosen.

Possibility is born when we see ourselves reflected in one another and realize, if she can, maybe I can too.

This conference is designed to expand what feels possible; personally, professionally, and collectively.

This isn’t just a theme, it’s an invitation. To remember your power. To reconnect with your purpose. And to step boldly into what’s possible, together.

Conference Details

This conference will include a keynote speaker, breakout sessions, community building/networking sessions, an exhibit hall, breakfast and lunch, as well as a cocktail party at the end of the day.

We are looking for high-energy, uplifting breakout sessions that include engaging learning opportunities that add immediate value. Each session will have 20-100 attendees and should be approximately 40 minutes long to allow ample time for Q&A.

While we will consider a wide variety of presentation topics, we have chosen six areas of special focus to ensure we provide valuable programming to all women in Maine.

Personal Development

Session topics include things like confidence building, communication, self-reflection, mindset growth, and other areas of self-improvement.

Social Activism

Including volunteering and philanthropy; diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB); and issues affecting our communities throughout Maine.

Health & Wellness

Mental health, stress management, and physical well-being.

Career & Professional Development

For working women, entrepreneurs, and business leaders.

Family & Caregiving

Including raising children (all ages), marriage/relationships, caring for aging or disabled family members, and juggling family/home responsibilities.

Community Building

We plan to include one interactive session to encourage active social engagement and community building for our attendees.

Speaker Benefits

In addition to solidifying a position as an industry thought leader, here are a few of the many other benefits 2026 speakers receive:

  • (1) complimentary registration pass that provides access to all sessions, keynotes, networking functions, and the exhibit hall

  • Invaluable networking opportunities with other presenters and industry professionals
