The Basics
-
The Maine Women's Conference (MEWC) is a one-day annual conference dedicated to connecting, educating, inspiring, and empowering professional women across Maine and beyond. Founded in 2016, MEWC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run entirely by a volunteer board.
-
MEWC 2026 will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Portland, Maine.
363 Maine Mall Road, Portland, Maine, 04106
-
This year's theme is Power, Purpose & Possibility; an invitation to remember your power, reconnect with your purpose, and step boldly into what's possible, together.
-
MEWC brings together 350+ women from a wide range of industries, career stages, and backgrounds from across Maine and beyond. Whether you're a seasoned executive, an entrepreneur, or early in your career, or if you’re in a transitional stage or are a stay-at-home mom or caretaker, there is something here for you.
MEWC is open to all who share our commitment to empowering women. Men and allies are warmly welcomed — we believe that advancing women benefits everyone, and we're stronger when we build that future together.
