#MEWC2019 will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at The Holiday Inn By The Bay in Portland, Maine!

OUr Mission

The mission of The Maine Women's Conference is to draw women together to connect, educate, inspire, and empower one another to assume new and expanded roles in the workforce, our lives and communities.

Our Beliefs and Goals:

We believe that empowering women strengthens society.
We believe that experiences change lives.
We believe in every women’s potential.
We believe in the value of bringing women together.
We believe that all women are leaders.

The Maine Women's Conference welcomes all women who value our Mission. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment of diverse individuals, organizations and communities.

It is our goal to EDUCATE women about how continuous and sometimes non-traditional education and learning can enrich a woman at any point in her career or life, enabling her to “take the lead” in many ways.

It is our goal to INSPIRE women to feel that following their true north – their dreams/goals/passions – and not letting others define what those things are for them – is a true form of leadership. This person should tell a story of personal experience where defying the odds, following their passions, and being their most authentic self - positioned them as a leader in their field or passion.

It is our goal to EMPOWER women to take action in their own lives after this conference.
