Mindful Eating for Every Busy Woman

With tara whitney

About this Session:

According to a 2021 Harvard Business Review article, 62% of American workers eat lunch at their desk. For the busy woman, taking time to slow down to eat can be really challenging. Eating is often the last to be prioritized and is done while doing other things, like checking email.

When we aren’t paying attention when eating, we lose out on the enjoyment of eating and may miss fullness cues.  With mindful eating, there are lower rates of emotional eating and binge eating, and higher experiences of enjoyment and satisfaction of food.

In this workshop, you’ll be practicing mindful eating by understanding all of the components of a mindful experience. It’s not just about contemplating a raisin! You’ll have a new appreciation for slowing down and tuning in.

When we aren’t paying attention when eating, we lose out on the enjoyment of eating and may miss fullness cues.
