ADELAIDE TAYLOR

Board Role: President

Profession: Leadership Administrator

When she is not working, she reads, walks on the beach at sunrise, and hangs out with her son. Her favorite part of MEWC is connecting with all the fabulous women who attend our event.

Kate Murphy

Board Role: DEI/Membership Chair

Profession: PTC Kepware Account Executive

When she is not working, she spends time with her new puppy! Her favorite part of MEWC is meeting new women to impress and inspire her every day!

Astride JEANNOT

Board Role: Programming Chair

Profession: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant and Educator

When she is not working, she loves going on walks with her husband and dogs. She also loves trying new restaurants. Her favorite part of MEWC is the connections she makes with women across the state. Astride is also a published author of “Knowing How to Discuss Race in The Classroom”, a guidebook providing indispensable insights for white educators navigating complex racial conversations.

KIRSTY BEAUCHESNE

Board Role: Sponsorship Chair

Profession: Corporate Partnerships

When she is not working, she is spending time with her nieces.

Carie bond

Board Role: At-Large Board Member

Profession: Senior Recruiter

When she is not working, she is either running or on the Peloton! She also enjoys spending time with family and friends and taking long walks with her rescue dog. Her favorite part of MEWC is the opportunity to connect with incredibly smart women and to help empower women to reach their fullest potential in anything they do.

YASMINE HABASH

Board Role: At-Large Board Member & Community Partnerships

Profession: Real Estate Agent

When she is not working, she is in the yoga studio, on nature trails, drinking tea and adventuring across Maine with friends and family. Her favorite part of the MEWC is connecting with women with the goal of bringing more women together.

VANESSA BERRILL

Board Role: Secretary

Profession: Receptionist

When she is not working, she loves to spend time outside connecting with nature or watching a good movie.

Maria Maffucci

Board Role: Marketing Chair

Profession: Legal Assistant

When she is not working, you can find her volunteering with other Maine organizations, cooking, or sweating it out at the gym.

Brooke Bailey

Board Role: Legal Counsel

Profession: Civil Litigation Attorney

When she is not working, she is reading, working out, volunteering or enjoying the outdoors. Her favorite part of MEWC is the incredible speakers. Each speaker provides a unique background and perspective, all focused on connecting women.

Allie Andrews

Board Role: Sponsorship Committee Member

Profession: Sex and Intimacy Coach, founder and owner of OmBody Health

When she is not working you can find her dancing salsa, on skiing or backpacking adventures with her partner, or snuggling with her cat Bindi.

SLOANE JUSTICE-ROSE (She/HER)

Board Role: At-Large Board Member

Profession: Higher Education Administrator

When she is not working, she reads science-fiction or fantasy genre tales they checked out from the Portland Public Library library. Sloane's favorite part of MEWC is building deep relationships and learning from others in her community.

When she is not working, you can find her reading, bowling, staying active, and traveling.
